I want to use the VST version, drop it on a track hit record in my DAW and have Maschine spit out the midi notes to my DAW so I can work with the midi notes from my DAW. Is this a known issue? I can get LoopBe to send the midi down my cables through presonus to my DAW in standalone but thats the only luck Ive had getting either DAW to recieve midi notes. Still nothing! I don't know what to report except that it just doesnt work. Ive setup the ins and outs so many different ways even using Loopbe which has high latency so its unusable. Ive setup the midi out properly from the group using the midi batch setup. I can get Maschine to play the patterns that I manually put in a piano roll with a midi out to Maschine but it doesnt seem that Maschine is sending the midi to the DAW when I try to record it into my DAW like using any other VST instrument does. I don't know if I explained well enough what I want to do, but I dont want to record my patterns in the Maschine sequencer or pattern blocks I want to record the midi into my DAW using a VST version of Maschine. I prefer to work in FL Studio so I was wondering if midi has even been checked on NI's side with FL Studio.

I have a presonus firebox, maschine 1.5 latest beta, FL studio 9.1, Cubase Studio 4, Windows 7 64bit Ive used real cables to connect the midi ins and outs to send midi through my presonus firebox to my DAW because the usb midi doesnt seem to work from the Maschine if there even is usb midi being sent. Ive been working with my DAWs and midi for over 8 years so Im not totally stupid, it just doesnt seem to work.

Ive followed every tutorial I could find and Ive read the manual numerous times. Ive setup the midi routing so many different ways my head is spinning.

I know how to setup scene changes using a midi controller to control the changes, but Ive never gotten Maschine to spit out the midi note data to either of my daws so I can record my patterns in my sequencer. I primarily use FL Studio now Version 9.1, but I also use Cubase Studio 4. Ive been trying ever since I purchased my Maschine to be able to sequence inside my DAW.
